Over the last three years, Constantin has completed seasons of 24, 35, and 41 Trifectas. When asked how many he planned to complete, his answer was always the same:
“All of them.”
That tells you almost everything you need to know.
In 2026, Constantin has already completed 13 Trifectas, securing another year in pursuit of the 13x Trifecta Shield in Sparta. But for him, the chase is not new. It is familiar ground. A path he keeps choosing because Spartan has become part of who he is.
“I’m addicted to it,” Constantin said. “And I’m going for it every season.”
This year, he is chasing his fifth Shield in Sparta.
That number matters.
Not because it is easy to repeat something like this, but because it is not. To come back year after year takes more than fitness. It takes obsession. Discipline. Planning. Sacrifice. And a willingness to build your life around the next start line.
For Constantin, earning another Shield means he is still out there.
Still doing what he loves.
Still living the way he wants to live.
“Earning my 5th Shield in Sparta means to me that I’m still out there and do what I love and what I live for,” he said.
That is the heart of his story.
In ancient Sparta, the shield was not simply something carried into battle. It was a symbol of commitment, identity, and belonging. It showed that you had stood with others, carried your weight, and refused to step away from the test in front of you.
For Constantin, the 13x Trifecta Shield carries that same kind of meaning.
It is not just proof of races completed.
It is proof of a life built around the hard way.
Every weekend, Constantin is chasing something more than a medal. He is chasing moments that stay with him long after the finish line. New venues. New memories. New people. New stories. The kind of experiences that make a difficult life feel full instead of heavy.
“Every weekend is special and memorable,” he said. “I’m going out to chase moments for life, as much as possible.”
That is what keeps him moving.
The next weekend. The next race. The next start line. The next group of Spartans waiting somewhere down the road.
But a life like this does not happen by accident.
The hardest part of the chase is not always the obstacles. It is everything required to make the obstacles possible.
Planning. Racing. Working. Family. Every single week. Year after year.
That is the real endurance test.
Anyone can be fired up for one race weekend. Constantin has learned how to keep showing up across entire seasons. He has learned how to balance the logistics, the travel, the work, and the people who matter most.
And through it all, family remains his biggest support.
He also credits his friend and Ambassador Captain Andreas Dietrich as a major part of his Spartan journey. Like so many Shield Chasers, Constantin’s story is personal, but it has never been walked alone. The Spartan family is part of what keeps calling him back.
When the racing gets hard, what keeps him going is simple:
The Spartan family he will meet the next weekend.
That is powerful.
Because it means the finish line is not the only reward. The people are part of the reason. The community becomes part of the fuel. Every race is another chance to reconnect with the people who understand why someone would choose to do this again and again.
Constantin’s favorite venue so far is the Abu Dhabi desert. A place that feels built for this kind of story: harsh, beautiful, exposed, and unforgettable. The kind of place where Spartan becomes more than a race and starts to feel like a test of who you are when comfort disappears.
His advice to someone chasing their first Trifecta is rooted in mindset.
“Go to the start line and see yourself crossing the finish line in your mind,” he said. “Mindset is the biggest part of the game. Especially when doing this every weekend.”
That is not just advice for a first Trifecta.
That is advice for the entire chase.
Before the body follows, the mind has to believe.
Before the finish line is real, you have to see it.
Before the Shield is earned, you have to decide that you are the kind of person who will keep showing up until it is.
Constantin chases Trifectas because Spartan is his life and his way to live free.
By the time he returns to Sparta, this Shield will represent more than another year of racing.
It will represent his fifth Shield.
The seasons of 24, 35, and 41 Trifectas.
The 13 already completed in 2026.
The family that supports him.
The Spartan family waiting every weekend.
The desert in Abu Dhabi.
The planning, working, racing, and living that make this pursuit possible.
And the truth Constantin Schueler keeps proving year after year:
Some people chase Spartan.
Constantin lives it.
